千葉大学医学部附属病院総合医療教育研修センター／医学部医学教育研究室とNPO法人千葉医師研修支援ネットワークが主催する「The USMLE Step2 Clinical Skills Workshop 2019, Dec 21 – 22」を取材してきましたので、その様子をご紹介します。

開催概要

日時：2019年12月21日（土）8:00～20:00
2019年12月22日（日）8:00～17:00
開催場所：千葉大学医学部附属病院教育研修棟
対象：臨床研修医、医師および医学生
講師：
・Daniel Salcedo（Taipei Municipal Wanfang Hospital）
・James Thomas（慶應義塾大学医学部医学教育統轄センター専任講師）
内容：
USMLE(アメリカの医師資格取得のための試験）のStep2 CS（臨床実技）準備のための2日間セミナー。
模擬診察に最適なシミュレーション施設で、訓練された模擬患者（英語）を相手に行うワークショップ。
Course Syllabus：
・Understanding the tests structure and grading system
・Principles of Clinical Communication and Medical Empathy
・Obtaining a History of Present Illness (HPI)
・Obtaining a Past Medical and Socio-sexual History
・Asking sensitive questions
・Performing a focused Physical Examination
・Western-style clinical reasoning
・Discussing diagnostic impressions and follow up tests
・Providing health counseling
・Answering questions from patients
・Writing a clinical note
・Preparation resources and tips for the USMLE Step 2 CS

スケジュール

Introduction、Understanding the Step 2 CS（Day 1）

Initial encounters、Basics of Patient Communication

Lunch Session：History of Present Illness、Past medical and sociosexualhx

History Taking Practice

Examination of the Chest、Examination of the Abdomen、Neurological Examination

Musculoskeletal Examination、Ears, Nose and Throat Examination

Clinical Reasoning、Diagnostic Discussion and Counseling、Clinical note writing

Mock Exam（Day 2）

参加者からの感想

・質と量ともに最高でした。特にPhysicalは他では学べないので有用であった。
・非常に恵まれた機会でした。SPとのmock examで多くの課題が見つかり、またモチベーションも上がったように感じます。
・とても長くて疲れましたが、とても練習になりました。CSを受けるモチベーションになりました。ダニエル先生とジェイムズ先生のパワーがすごいと思いました。
・非常に濃密な時間でした。特に2日目のmock examは非常に勉強になりました。ありがとうございました。
・usmle step2csの準備は足りない状況で臨みましたが、大変得るものが多く、勉強になりました。
